Catedral Alta Patagonia is the largest and most developed ski resort in South America.
Located 19 km away from Bariloche down town. Two mountains sit side by side: the old Robles and Alta Patagonia. A total of 3600 acres, 1800 apt for skiing. A longitude suitable for skiing of 120 Km. Its base; at 1030 metres, is one of the most modern and developed in all of South America. The highest elevation for skiing is 2180 metres, offering a spectacular and imposing view of the Andes Mountains.

In the past few years, Catedral Alta Patagonia have continued with improvements to the mountain, beginning in 1996 with the installation of the only high speed six man chairlift in South America. A new four man chairlift offers some of the best views of the resort.

 

As part of the modernization plan, a Gondola, two triples chairlifts, a combined chairlift for four / two people, the complex plaza Amancay and the enlargement of the artificial snow production area are all in the pipe-line.

 

In addition, Catedral Alta Patagonia uses a “hands free” lift pass. The machines can detect the pass in your pocket allowing a totally hassle-free on-mountain experience.

 

The mountain is open every day from 9am to 5pm.
