Bariloche

San Calos de Bariloche is recognized as the most important winter resort in South America.

It is located at the foot of the Andes Mountains, in the heart of magical Patagonia near Nahuel Huapi Lake. It is surrounded by natural and beautiful reserves, wide mountains, huge lakes and large extensive rivers full of trout and salmon. The forests are full of native Patagonian fauna and wildlife including: condors, deer, pumas (mountain lions), wild boars, and rhea.

The architectural style of Bariloche has made the town one of the most picturesque cities in the country.

Besides skiing, many other recreational sports and activities are available such as: horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking, windsurfing, fishing, wakeboarding, kite surfing, and rafting.

Bariloche night life is very active and enjoyable. The city is filled with hundreds of first class restaurants, pubs, night clubs and casinos. Each restaurant is known for its own specific and unique signature: amazing panoramic views, top class decorations, and gourmet food. The streets of Bariloche lodge numerous chocolate factories.

Well known for producing and importing some of the best chocolate in the world, large factories such as Fenoglio are a chocolate lover’s paradise.

For each of these reasons, and many others you will discover along the way, you can be certain Bariloche is the ideal location to satisfy your every dream!
